Director and Founder of Kanda Consulting, Kaz Orr, has worked in the area of objective assessment, specialising in leadership assessment and development for nearly 20 years. After studying in the UK, Kaz completed her Post Graduate study in New Zealand and worked in some of New Zealand’s leading consultancies before establishing her own practice in 2020.

Working with a selection of trusted associates, Kaz can assist clients in all areas of assessment and development, from designing leadership assessment and development centres to competency framework development, to interview training and executive coaching. Balancing robust tools with a high touch approach, Kanda partners with clients to deliver observable results.

Kaz has an adaptable style that assists her in connecting with those she works with. A strong proponent of open and transparent feedback, she firmly believes that participants benefit from ‘real’ conversations to gain greater self-awareness and insights. Kaz is valued for her ability to “negotiate her way through the issues and maintain her poise and relationships” (client feedback).
